About Gellatly Bay Goats Peak Community Association
The Gellatly Bay Goats Peak community is very fortunate to be home to our jewel, Gellatly Bay. Residents love the small-town feel, expansive views, abundant wildlife, access to the lake, beaches, parks and trails, and proximity to the businesses and services in nearby West Kelowna town centre.
Our recreational corridor is well utilized throughout the entire year, and in the summer bursts with activity. Sunbathers, swimmers, boaters and walkers flock to enjoy the amenities and beauty that Lake Okanagan offers.
The Gellatly Bay Goats Peak Community Association, a non-profit society, was formed in October of 2020. Our vision is to:
- Maintain our sense of community, pride and tradition
- Create an opportunity for the residents of Gellatly Bay Goats Peak to have a voice in advocating for thoughtful development
- To safeguard access to Gellatly Bay for the use and enjoyment of all residents of West Kelowna
The team of volunteers that are currently driving this association were drawn together over common concerns surrounding the potential development across from Willow Beach, however, all residents, homeowners, and recreational corridor users of the Gellatly Bay Goats Peak neighbourhood are encouraged to join today to help have your voice heard.
