Invitation to our 2022 AGM

The Gellatly Bay Goats Peak Community Association (GBGPCA) is pleased to invite our residential members to our second Annual General Meeting (AGM).

WHEN: November 2, 2022 at 7pm – 7:30pm Pacific

AGENDA: 

1. Determine that there is a quorum
2. Present proof of Notice of Meeting
3. Approve the Agenda
4. Receive the Review of the prior year by the President (Article 5 of the bylaws)
5. Receive the Financial Report of the Treasurer (Article 5 of the bylaws)
6. Receive the report on the initiatives the Association is presently involved with.
   Proposed Resolutions: Be it resolved that the Association shall continue to be involved in the following initiatives and will, from time to time and when appropriate, poll the membership to ascertain the views of the majority of its members with respect to each initiative discussed. 
   – New development and related proposals in the Gellatly Bay Goats Peak Neighbourhood boundary 
   – Other initiatives as they affect our neighbourhood 
   – Amend Article 2, section 4 – B) to create a “Non-Voting Recreational Member” membership category (non resident); “A recreational member must be a resident of West Kelowna and frequent the Gellatly Bay and Goats Peak recreational corridor.” 
   – Amend Article 4, Section 10 of the bylaws to allow for the AGM to occur annually, “before the end of the calendar year”. 
7. Election of Directors
   Our Association  is seeking expressions of interest from Gellatly Bay Goats Peak residents who would like to put their name forward to run for a position on our Board of Directors. View more details.
