The May 11, 2021 Council Meeting Highlights includes an update on the revised Short Term Accommodation regulations which will go to a new public hearing this June. The revised regulations propose:
- Permitting short term accommodations within a single
–detached dwelling, secondary suite or carriage house. - Maintaining existing regulations for Bed and Breakfasts except for a clarification that a Bed and Breakfast owner cannot also operate a short term accommodation.
- That short term accommodations be hosted to protect the livability of neighbourhoods.
