On April 27, 2021 the City of West Kelowna held a “Committee of the Whole” which included presentations from various West Kelowna neighbourhood associations. The Gellatly Bay Goats Peak Community Association (GBGPCA) was invited to take part in this session which included an audience consisting of the City of West Kelowna Mayor and Council, key City staff, and our neighbouring community associations and societies.
Nicole Waidman led the presentation on our behalf which included introducing the audience to our newly-formed group, review of our activity to date, and (what we hope was) a thought provoking dialogue on various concerns around:
- Safety and Access;
- Infrastructure;
- Lack of Enforcement; and
- Development.
A full recording of this meeting can be viewed here which includes the presentation by the GBGPCA on item 6.3 of the agenda.
Feedback was issued by the City in August 2021 which is summarized here.
We welcome your feedback on this presentation and invite you to continue to send us your neighbourhood ideas and concerns.
