The City of West Kelowna has confirmed that the construction of a roundabout at the Gellatly-Carrington Roads intersection, minor in-stream storm work improvements to Smith Creek, and a proposed 3.0 metre wide multi-use asphalt pathway from Witt Road to Boucherie Road will commence this April. Completion is currently scheduled for September 2021.
Construction will include closure of the Gellatly-Carrington Roads intersection during weekday work hours between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The intersection will be open to the public on evenings and weekends.
With the Gellatly-Carrington Roads intersection closed to the public during construction work hours, detour routes will be put in place for approximately 10 weeks starting mid-April. Please monitor the City’s website for further information and updates.
